About the technology:

I am not a great "web carpenter", but I have made an effort to create pages, which are reader-friendly, valid and not heavy to use. That's because I remember how irritating it was to have a 56K modem or an ISDN connection surfing the "World Wide Wait".

The pages have been created with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and contain only a few different pictures. The home page has been moved from a free Internet provider to a real web hotel in order to give the home page the form and content, which I think, it should have. It contains data bases, a list of parishes (all parishes in Denmark combined with their district (herred) and county (amt), a FAQ for Family Tree Maker and recently a database with all graveyards from Thyregod Parish plus parts of the parish register has been added. More data bases will be added as it makes great fun to develop them.

Family Tree Maker's "My Family History" at the Internet has its limit at 2,000 individuals. As I'm over that limit, I have been looking for something else to use for the publication of genealogy data. At first I found GEDHTanc, which is just a great little thing, and it is free. It is based on crating lots of html-files, so this is a very good application if you do not have access to php and MySQL-databases.

But if you do have access to php and MySQL-databases, I think The Next Generation is a must for all genealogists. You get it for 29 USD and you just import your gedcom-file from ie. FTM. If you have troubles installing, then refer to the very good online step-by-step guide, and if you end up in the dark, write Darrin an email. You can find my results up untill now in my ancestry in TNG. You can choose your own language as well.
